The staff were helpful. The service at breakfast was good since we needed a few extra bits. The rooms were clean and it's about an hour drive roughly from other tourist attractions . It's a good location and price was affordable. There isn't much parking at the hotel but across the road there's a big parking space which I think you pay for but we got it free for all the days since I think it was bank holiday we only had to let the front desk know they asked us to register on their system .

The room was clean but definitely needed a spruce up. The ceiling paint above the bed was peeling and flaking off. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of items to make a few brews.
